Recurring Training Update: Recurring safety training is being implemented in Workday Learning. Foundational laboratory safety courses generally recur every three years, while training for higher-risk activities or specific regulatory requirements may recur more frequently.

Cornell University requires specific safety training based on laboratory activities and hazards. Training requirements are cumulative—each level includes all previous required training. This list may not be comprehensive - as additional training may be required for different risks or specialized training may be required by the laboratory depending on hazards or permits. All laboratory-specific training should be documented by the lab.
