3. Medical Approval
Obtain and complete from EH&S the Medical Evaluation Questionnaire for medical approval to wear respiratory protection. Further medical evaluation and medical surveillance may be necessary to determine if a person can wear respiratory protection equipment.
4. Respiratory Protection Training
EH&S will provide training on the use of respiratory protection at the time of initial assignment and fitting of the respirator. Anyone requiring the use of a respirator must receive training. The purpose of the training is to explain the limitations of the various respirators and to gain a better understanding on using the appropriate respirators and cartridges for the job.
5. Respirator Fit Testing
