What types of costs are usually involved with asbestos projects ?
1. Asbestos contractor: asbestos removal & disposal costs
2. Environmental services: EH&S or consultant: performing building survey, sampling, laboratory analysis, project design & specifications, project & air monitoring services....helping to provide a safe, legal, efficient, and cost effective project.
3. Support services: PDC shops: HVAC shutdown/lockout-tag-out/drain lines/electric power panels, etc
How to obtain/request a cost estimate:
#1. Contact EH&S representatives directly by phone or e-mail.
to get a "ballpark" estimate - if the scope is clear/straitforward and the asbestos information can be obtained from our database, a ballpark estimate will be provided to you at no cost.
or
#2 Issue a customer service ticket to EH&S
if a site visit or significant effort is necessary to determine scope, materials, specific site conditions, etc., a small service charge will be associated with preparing a more detailed estimate of costs.
Example: 1 - 1 1/2 hour charge is average = $48 - $72
