The Department of Environmental Health and Safety's Fire Protection Section provides the Cornell Community with a variety of emergency and non-emergency services. Section staff are on duty 24 hours a day to respond to campus emergencies and activated smoke detectors. The section also provides a variety of safety related services in the areas of fire prevention and training, fire protection system testing and inspection and disaster planning and preparedness.
