Safetybase

Overview

Introduction

Safetybase is a database created to help employees, students, Trainers, Training Supervisors and Safety Managers track safety training and keep required certifications current. Using your Cornell University NetID as a unique identifier, you can access different types of training information via the Internet. Safetybase is also available for other departments to track and manage their training programs. Please contact the Safetybase Administrator at: safetybase@cornell.edu for additional information.

Training sessions given by Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), selected College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and Gannet Health Center programs from January 1999 through the current year are entered into Safetybase using the person’s Cornell University NetID from the attendance sheets. Completed Training Sessions will appear in your Training History within 15 business days. After the NetIDs have been entered into the database, the attendance sheets are kept on file at the EH&S office. Attendance sheets for Training Sessions held from December 1982 – December 1998 are also on file.

If you have any questions or comments about Safetybase, send an email to: safetybase@cornell.edu.
